Understanding Your Situation

The Most Important Health Investment a Man Can Make

Men are statistically less likely to attend health screenings than women, yet many of the most serious conditions affecting men — aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease, prostate enlargement, testicular pathology — are entirely detectable by ultrasound before symptoms develop. Our Men's Full Body Scan is a comprehensive, evidence-based screening package that gives you a complete picture of your internal health in a single appointment, with immediate results and a written report. Our clinic at 29 Weymouth Street, Marylebone, offers same-day appointments with no GP referral required.

Clinical Overview

What is the Men's Full Body Scan?

The Men's Full Body Scan is a curated package of six targeted ultrasound assessments, each chosen for its clinical relevance to men's health and its ability to detect significant pathology at an asymptomatic stage. The package covers the thyroid and neck, testes, abdomen and kidneys, prostate and bladder, urinary tract, and carotid arteries — providing a comprehensive evaluation of the organ systems most relevant to men's health and longevity.

Diagnostic Scope

What This Scan Can Detect

Thyroid & Neck
Thyroid nodules, goitre, lymphadenopathy, and other neck masses — thyroid disease affects 1 in 20 men and is frequently asymptomatic.
Testicular Health
Testicular masses, microlithiasis, varicocele, and epididymal cysts — testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15–49.
Abdominal Organs
Liver disease (fatty liver, cirrhosis, lesions), gallstones, spleen abnormalities, pancreatic pathology, and aortic aneurysm screening.
Prostate & Bladder
Prostate volume measurement, bladder wall assessment, and post-void residual — essential for men with urinary symptoms or raised PSA.
Kidneys & Urinary Tract
Kidney stones, cysts, hydronephrosis, and bladder pathology — kidney disease affects 1 in 10 adults and is often asymptomatic until advanced.
Carotid Arteries
Carotid intima-media thickness and plaque assessment — a key marker of cardiovascular risk and stroke prevention.

Understanding Your Men's Full Body Scan Results

Your sonographer will explain all findings from each of the six scans during the appointment. A comprehensive written report covering all organs assessed is provided before you leave. Normal findings provide reassurance across all key men's health organ systems. Any abnormalities are clearly described with their clinical significance and recommendations for follow-up or further investigation.
