Arrival & Registration

Upon arrival at our London clinic, you'll be warmly greeted and complete a brief registration process.

Consultation with Sonographer

Our HCPC-registered sonographer will discuss your medical history and any specific concerns you may have.

The Ultrasound Scan

You'll lie comfortably while the sonographer uses a transducer and gel to perform a detailed scan of your pelvic organs, kidneys, and abdomen.

Preliminary Findings

The sonographer will provide immediate preliminary findings and answer any questions you have during the appointment.

Detailed Report

A comprehensive report, reviewed by a consultant radiologist, will be sent to you within 24 hours, outlining all findings and recommendations.

Before Your Appointment

How to Prepare for Your Scan

    Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing for ease of access to the abdominal area.
  • 2
    For optimal imaging of pelvic organs, you may be asked to have a full bladder. Please drink 1 litre of water one hour before your appointment.
  • 3
    Avoid eating or drinking for 6 hours prior to your scan for better visualisation of abdominal organs, especially the gallbladder.
  • 4
    Bring any relevant previous scan reports or medical notes.
After Your Scan
